Project Manager

We're working with a well-established commercial builder delivering a strong pipeline of projects across Sydney.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. You'll oversee 1-2 projects at a time, taking ownership of delivery from pre-construction through to handover.

Projects typically range from $3m-$6m and include a mix of commercial construction, refurbishment and fitout works across the Sydney market.

You'll be supported by a dedicated Contract Administrator, allowing you to focus on project delivery, stakeholder management and overall project performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Oversee project programmes, budgets and financial performance
• Lead project teams and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with the Contract Administrator on procurement, variations and project controls
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements
• Drive projects to achieve programme, budget and quality outcomes

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects as a Project Manager
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
• Experience managing project budgets, contracts and variations
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong client relationships
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Relevant construction qualifications
• Australian commercial construction experience is essential
