Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be accountable for the successful delivery of client and internal projects within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk parameters. The Project Manager serves as the primary coordination point between clients, delivery teams, PMO leadership, resource management, sales, finance, and executive stakeholders to ensure projects achieve intended business outcomes.

The Project Manager is responsible for project governance, financial management, stakeholder communication, forecasting, reporting, and risk management while ensuring compliance with Morae PMO methodologies, standards, and stage gate processes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Governance:

• Manage projects through the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to Morae PMO standards, methodologies, templates, and governance processes.
• Facilitate project stage gate reviews and approval processes.
• Produce accurate project status reporting and executive updates.
• Maintain project documentation and audit readiness.

Financial Management:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, revenue plans, margins, and cost control activities.
• Monitor actual versus planned effort, spend, and profitability.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support revenue forecasting and resource utilization planning.
• Ensure project financial performance remains aligned to approved business objectives.

Risk, Issue & Change Management:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, revenue plans, margins, and cost control activities.
• Monitor actual versus planned effort, spend, and profitability.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support revenue forecasting and resource utilization planning.
• Ensure project financial performance remains aligned to approved business objectives.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, revenue plans, margins, and cost control activities.
• Monitor actual versus planned effort, spend, and profitability.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support revenue forecasting and resource utilization planning.
• Ensure project financial performance remains aligned to approved business objectives.

Resource & Delivery Coordination:

• Coordinate project resources with Delivery Leads, Resource Managers, and functional teams.
• Support capacity planning and resource forecasting.
• Balance scope, schedule, quality, and resource constraints.
• Facilitate collaboration across delivery teams and business units.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in lessons learned and project closure activities.
• Contribute to PMO process improvements and best practices.
• Support PMO reporting, metrics, and maturity initiatives.
• Mentor project team members on project management practices.

The Project Manager is not expected to be the technical subject matter expert for the solution being delivered. Technical design, architecture, configuration, product expertise, and implementation decisions remain the responsibility of designated technical leads, consultants, and SMEs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience.
• Experience delivering technology, legal technology, professional services, consulting, or transformation projects.
• Strong financial management and forecasting capability.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within structured governance environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Agile project management certification, including PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent credentials
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred; strongly desired but not required.
