Senior Project Manager, M&A Integration (Contract)

Dublin, Hybrid | 6-month contract, strong extension potential | Day rate DOE

Fortis Recruitment is working with a global life sciences business on two Senior Project Manager contracts in its Integration Management Office. The IMO is a small team of five, mostly based in Dublin, that brings acquired businesses into the group and makes sure each deal delivers its value. There's a live acquisition underway and several more in the pipeline, so there's a real chance of extension beyond the first six months.

The two roles

• IT integration: leading the technology workstreams across infrastructure, Salesforce, e-commerce, logistics and inventory
• Central IMO: a flexible, problem-solving role working closely with the IMO lead across the whole programme

What you'll do

• Lead integration workstreams and work hands-on with functional leads across a global matrix organisation
• Set the scope, objectives and success criteria for each workstream, tied to the deal's value drivers
• Build and run detailed project plans covering milestones, dependencies and critical path
• Own the charters, RAID log, minutes and project documentation
• Report weekly to the IMO on progress, risks, budget and forecasts
• Support change management, from stakeholder impact assessments through to communications and adoption
• Hand over cleanly to business-as-usual teams as each integration closes out

What they're looking for

• A senior PM who has delivered complex, cross-functional programmes and can hit the ground running
• M&A integration, separation or large-scale transformation experience. Big 4 consulting backgrounds are very welcome
• Strong people skills. You'll be working directly with business leads and getting them engaged, rather than handing tasks off
• Comfortable with ambiguity, as deal timelines can move around regulatory clearance
• Happy presenting to senior leadership one day and building a spreadsheet the next
• Strong on the detail: project plans, RAID logs, Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI is a bonus
• Pharma, life sciences or regulated-industry experience helps but isn't essential
• Experience using AI tools for reporting and documentation is a plus

• Hybrid from South Dublin, with some overlap with US time zones and flexibility given in return
