Sataya is representing a growing South African health and wellness business that is launching a new premium, direct-to-consumer men's health brand. They are looking for a Project Manager to own the rollout and help build the brand from the ground up.

Role Overview

The new brand is a subscription-based health offering for men at different life stages, combining high-quality supplementation, community and long-term behaviour change. It will run as a focused, startup-style business with international ambitions, while sitting within an established group with experienced teams and existing infrastructure.

As Project Manager, you will be the central driver of execution. The role sits across product, marketing, operations and customer experience, and you will work directly with the founder on every part of the launch. That means managing timelines and deliverables, keeping product, packaging, website and marketing aligned, and making sure nothing stalls between teams.

It suits someone organised but action-oriented, who is comfortable with ambiguity and happy to get stuck in on whatever the launch needs. The role starts as a 6-month contract, to be extended.

Scope of Role:

• Project and product management: own the rollout of the brand's product offering, manage timelines, deliverables and cross-functional coordination, and keep product, packaging, website and marketing aligned
• Marketing and growth: work with the wider marketing team to execute campaigns, support paid media, affiliate and launch campaigns, and help test, learn and optimise performance over time
• Operations and product support: work with the operations team on stock planning and product readiness, support new product development and packaging rollout, and ensure operational processes meet customer expectations
• E-commerce and product experience: help manage the website and product pages, ensure a seamless subscription and checkout experience, and keep improving conversion and user experience
• Customer experience and community: oversee the end-to-end customer journey, keep the brand experience premium, simple and consistent, and help build and nurture the brand's community

The Ideal Profile:

• 2 to 5 years' experience in a startup, agency, e-commerce or similar environment
• Strong interest in business, entrepreneurship and startups
• Highly organised and action-oriented, with a track record of taking ownership and getting things done
• Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to roll up their sleeves, with no task too small
• Naturally curious and always looking to improve how things are done
• Uses AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in daily workflows, is interested in automation, and can give examples of how they've used AI to improve efficiency or output
• Advantageous: experience in DTC, e-commerce or subscription businesses
• Advantageous: exposure to health, wellness or supplement categories
• Advantageous: a basic understanding of performance marketing
