Job Description - Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager
Department: Projects
Location: Project Site / HO with site travel
Reports To: General Manager / Vice President - Projects

Job Purpose

To lead end-to-end execution of high-rise and township projects, ensuring delivery within approved timelines, budget, quality standards, contractual requirements, and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for project execution, planning, coordination, and delivery.
• Lead project teams comprising engineering, planning, QA/QC, billing, stores, safety, MEP, and contractors.
• Prepare and monitor project execution strategy, resource deployment, and milestone schedules.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, design intent, technical specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities.
• Monitor project cost, cash flow, billing, procurement status, and budget adherence.
• Review progress against baseline schedules and initiate recovery actions where required.
• Ensure quality assurance systems, inspection procedures, and safety standards are implemented.
• Chair project review meetings and issue action plans for delays and challenges.
• Manage risks, claims, changes, and site-level stakeholder issues.
• Ensure completion, testing, snag closure, documentation, and handover in a timely manner.
• Submit MIS, progress reports, cost reports, and management summaries to senior leadership.

Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• PMP / project management qualification preferred

Experience

• 18 to 25 years in building construction, with at least 3 to 5 years in handling projects independently as Project Manager

Qualification

Qualification - Project Manager Minimum Required

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Preferred / Additional (Not Mandatory but Valuable)

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Diploma in Project Management
• Construction management courses
