Project Manager

The Role

• Ensure project activities comply with state rules and administrative code, including governance, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Lead and manage multiple medium-to-high complexity IT projects concurrently, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and business objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project management artifacts such as charters, schedules, risk registers, and communication plans.
• Perform independent oversight of large IT projects, assessing health, risks, issues, and progress against baselines.
• Coordinate communication among leadership, program areas, vendors, and stakeholders, facilitating effective decision-making.
• Apply PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies, utilising tools like Microsoft Project and SharePoint.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Project Management certification or successful completion of an industry-recognised project management curriculum.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience, including seven (7) or more years managing complex cross-functional projects.
• Experience with projects across multiple technologies and programmatic areas.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies, resource management, stakeholder management, risk management, and change management techniques.
