Project Manager

Roof Vets is seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager Intern to assist with residential roofing and exterior construction projects. This is a full-time, field-based position located in Sandy, Utah.

The Project Manager Intern will work alongside experienced team members to help coordinate projects, communicate with homeowners, document job progress, perform inspections, and support the production and sales teams. This position is a good opportunity for someone interested in construction management, roofing, insurance restoration, or business operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing residential roofing and exterior projects from inspection through completion.
• Visit residential job sites and help document project conditions and progress.
• Assist with roof inspections and storm-damage assessments.
• Take jobsite photos and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding inspections, scheduling, and project updates.
• Assist with scheduling crews, inspections, materials, and project activities.
• Update project information, notes, photos, and documents in company software.
• Assist with quality-control inspections and project closeout.
• Coordinate with the production, sales, and office teams.
• Learn roofing systems, exterior construction, insurance restoration, and project-management processes.
• Assist with door-to-door outreach and setting appointments for free roof inspections when needed.
• Help ensure jobsites remain organized, professional, and properly documented.
• Attend training, team meetings, and field activities as required.

Qualifications

• Current college student or recent graduate preferred, especially in construction management, business, marketing, or a related field.
• Construction or roofing experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Comfortable speaking with homeowners and working in the field.
• Willingness to learn roofing, exterior construction, and insurance restoration.
• Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and company project-management software.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
