What they need
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project planning, construction progress, quality, cost and timelines.
- Coordinate closely with consultants, local authorities and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costing, tender pricing, BQ, variation orders and claims.
- Identify and resolve technical, site and contractual issues.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet approved drawings, specifications and requirements.
- Provide regular project updates and recommendations to Management.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in construction/project management.
- Strong understanding of main contractor operations, construction costing, claims, variations and contract administration.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively with workers, subcontractors and authorities
