PROJECT MANAGER

About the role

Wei Yuan Construction Management Inc is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our project team in Tacloban City, Leyte. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from planning and budgeting through to completion and handover. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to maintaining Wei Yuan Construction Management Inc's reputation for excellence in the engineering and construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
• Manage project scope, ensuring all deliverables align with client requirements and contractual obligations
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities, including site management and safety protocols
• Monitor project progress and performance against established timelines and budgets
• Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members regarding project status and any potential issues
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to meet industry standards
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and records
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Lead problem-solving initiatives to address project challenges and unexpected issues

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management within the engineering sector
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable
• Experience with budget development, cost control, and financial management
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment whilst maintaining independence and accountability
