Project Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager – Compliance E-Learning (m/f/d) to join our Sponge Compliance team. 

You will be an integral part of a team of project managers delivering compliance e-learning projects across a range of industries. You will use your project management experience to take ownership of digital learning projects, working closely with clients, internal project teams and colleagues across the business to ensure work is delivered clearly, efficiently and to a high standard. 

Your communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, while your understanding of digital learning and technology will help translate client needs into clear requirements that can be understood and delivered by the wider team. 

This is a busy, fast-paced project environment where priorities can shift, timelines can be challenging and strong organisation is essential. We are looking for someone calm, resilient and solutions-focused, who can bring structure to complexity, manage competing priorities and help clients and colleagues feel they are in safe hands. 

You will play a key role in ensuring project objectives are met through careful planning, time management, budget control, risk management and clear communication. This is an important role in our continued success and supports our ambitious growth plans.

Job Requirements

• Experience in project management in e-learning or a related field.
• Experience managing e-learning projects, particularly within compliance learning or regulated environments.
• Good understanding of project management tools, processes and methodologies.
• Strong organisation and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm, resilient and solutions-focused, with the confidence to respond constructively when priorities shift or challenges arise.
• Strong client and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to create clarity and maintain momentum.
• A passion for quality, continuous improvement and delivering strong client outcomes.
• Excellent German and English language skills are required. (C1)

Job Responsibilities

• Project Management & Delivery: Ensure projects are planned, coordinated and delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely and consistent communication.
• Requirements & Coordination: Translate client needs into clear requirements, actions and deliverables that can be understood by project teams and delivery colleagues.
• Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies and blockers early, develop mitigation plans and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Governance & Reporting: Regularly report on project progress, actions, risks and decisions to senior stakeholders and clients.
• Pre-Sale Support & Change Requests: Support project proposals where required and manage client change requests in a structured and commercially aware way.
• Delivery Pace & Resilience: Keep projects moving in a busy delivery environment, balancing pace, quality and stakeholder confidence when priorities or timelines shift.
