We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage audio-visual and technical installations for a variety of live events, predominantly corporate events worldwide.
You will have a proven track record in project management within the exhibition sector, the ability to organise, multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment, and strong technical knowledge and outstanding client service skills.
At 4Wall, we are dedicated to exceptional client service and quality. This means you'll work hard, but you'll also have countless opportunities to grow your career in this role.
Primary Responsibilities

- Travelling globally to oversee and manage events on site
- Overseeing all aspects of projects, from initial design, budgeting, planning and preparation through to delivery and post-event review meetings
- Building, nurturing and developing client relationships
- Carrying out site visits and venue assessments
- Taking client briefs and providing commercially and technically sound quotations in a timely manner
- Outlining project timeframes and budgets
- Controlling project costs to ensure projects achieve specified profit margins while upholding exceptionally high quality standards
- Working with technical drawings and stand plans, and liaising with our technical team to obtain CAD drawings and 3D visualisations
- Sourcing and managing suppliers
- Managing all internal crew and external contractors on site as required
- Adhering to and promoting company policies and procedures
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards and ensuring on-site Health and Safety briefings are held
Qualifications and Prerequisites
- Experience in project management of live technical events, specifically exhibitions
- A broad technical understanding, ideally across video, sound, lighting and IT
- Commercial awareness and budgetary skills, with a clear understanding of the company's business and the ability to balance cost and quality effectively while ensuring profitability
- Meticulous planning skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and to delegate appropriately
- The flexibility to meet the demands of the live events industry, including availability to work overtime, early mornings, late evenings and some weekends
- The ability and willingness to travel: you will predominantly work in and around London, but will need to travel to our head office in Hertford and further afield as required
- Highly client-focused, as delivering the best quality service to our clients is at the heart of what we do
- Strong, positive leadership skills, with the ability to command respect and to engage, motivate and gain commitment from others
- Willingness to comply with and support company policies and procedures
- A great team player
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Rigging experience is preferred but not essential
