Job Summary

Headquartered in Blaine, Minnesota, Plant and Flanged Equipment (P&FE) provides outstanding client service with integrity to its client base. Founded in 1965, and family owned since 2014, the company offers estimating, pipe fabrication and material supplies to Contractors in the Water Works Industry.

The Project Manager collaborates with Plant & Flanged Equipment (P&FE) Estimators, other Project Managers and the manufacturing department to successfully lead and complete projects on-time and within budget.

Duties

· Reviews drawings and specifications to ensure required documentation is present.

· Works with Contractors and Engineers to complete certifications, etc. ensuring compliance with requirements/documentation.

· Maintains Contractor relationships through project completion.

· Engages in pre-contract plan clarification with Estimators and Engineers.

· Maintains adequate material inventory for current/future bid needs.

· Coordinates with Suppliers to ensure materials are ordered and delivered for manufacturing per bid schedule.

· Maintains database (accessible) of communications with Contractors and Engineers.

· Identifies and develops new business and Contractors contacts/relationships through networking.

· Manages Contractor expectations to maintain productive and engaged relationships.

· Supports Plant and Flanged Equipment’s presence in the industry.

· Responds to Contractor requests in a timely manner.

· Performs miscellaneous/additional job-related duties as assigned.

· Understand Risk Management when assembling bid: Considers future costs of materials for the life of the contract, per construction schedule.

· Considers “Value Engineering” as a critical part of both the bidding and production process.

· Looks for opportunities to deliver more “value” to the Contractor prior to bid award.

· Estimating is a major part of this position.

· Assists in City Desk/Walk-in guest responsibilities, as needed.

Requirements

· 3+ years experience and a proven track record of successful project management in the H2O “Water” Industry.

· Past documented Estimator experience, within Water Industry.

· Proficiency with industry-standard project manager tools and software.

· 3+ years using business tools: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Bluebeam (Adobe or similar).

· Strong attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form.

· Complete work within specified timeframe, including deadlines.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
