Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating timelines across multiple teams.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to facilitate accurate project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to align project goals and resolve issues promptly.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office tools for effective project documentation and communication.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits and status meetings; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to construction regulatory compliance and safety protocols at all times.
• Lead project teams by managing resources effectively, assigning tasks clearly, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices and cost management techniques.
• Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects within commercial construction environments.
• Excellent skills in project scheduling, schedule coordination, and timeline management using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Effective leadership skills in managing teams within a construction management role; excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on time management; capable of juggling multiple priorities efficiently.
• Familiarity with contracts management and understanding of legal aspects related to construction projects.
