This major community development initiative includes new tourism infrastructure and social enterprises intended to create employment and long-term economic benefits for Main Brook.

We are looking for a practical, highly organized professional with strong experience in construction management and government-funded projects. The successful candidate will oversee projects from planning and design through procurement, construction and completion.

  • Experience administering government grants, contribution agreements or publicly funded projects.
  • Strong budgeting, reporting, organizational and record-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems and work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, project management, business or a related field would be considered an asset but is not required. An equivalent combination of relevant training and practical experience will be considered.

Experience with tourism development, social enterprise, non-profit organizations or rural economic development would also be an asset.
