Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensure all construction activities adhere to regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using project management software such as Primavera P6 and Procore.
• Coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Manage project schedules by utilizing construction scheduling tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 to monitor progress and adjust timelines proactively.
• Oversee contract administration, including reviewing construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Lead and manage construction teams and subcontractors, fostering effective communication and teamwork throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor cost management efforts by tracking expenditures against budgets using HeavyBid or similar construction estimating tools.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by staying updated on construction regulations and implementing necessary procedures for construction site safety and environmental standards.
• Facilitate project coordination meetings to align stakeholders, resolve issues promptly, and maintain momentum towards project milestones.
• Review construction plans and schematics to verify accuracy before execution; read blueprints confidently for effective oversight.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and safety records with precision.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project timeline coordination.
• Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with a focus on civil engineering or heavy civil construction.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing project budgets, cost control measures, and resource planning.
• Excellent leadership skills in managing teams within a construction management environment; adept at motivating diverse groups toward common goals.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans; able to interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating between clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong time management capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $74,900.00 - $89,300.00 per year
