Job Description - Project Manager (PMO Finance)

Note: This is a non-IT PMO role. Candidates from Finance, Accounting backgrounds are preferred. IT/software project management experience is not required.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – PMO Finance to manage finance and business initiatives, project governance, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple finance and business projects from planning to completion.
• Track project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, management presentations, and executive summaries.
• Monitor budgets, actual spending, forecasts, and financial variances.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, HR, Procurement, and senior stakeholders.
• Conduct governance reviews and ensure timely project execution and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Finance Operations, Business Operations, or PMO.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Experience in project governance, MIS reporting, and management dashboards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
