Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and requirements.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets based on client requirements.
• Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members.
• Monitor the progress of projects and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure that the project goals are met.
• Manage project risks and issues, and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
• Manage project budget and ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints.
• Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and meet client expectations (including documents like sprint plan, capacity plan, release notes etc.)
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders regularly to provide updates on project progress.
• Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and identify opportunities for additional services and projects.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in project management in a service-based IT company.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering projects within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.
