Project Manager

About the Role

Join A2 Automation Sdn. Bhd., a growing system integrator specializing in ELV, ICT, Security, and Automation Solutions. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other external parties to oversee assigned projects.
• Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards in accordance with company policies, contract specifications, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Plan and develop project schedules to meet customer requirements, deadlines, and milestones.
• Monitor project progress, track site activities, and provide regular project status updates.
• Ensure project execution complies with approved specifications, scope of work, contract requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate with engineering and site teams on work procedures, project scope, scheduling, work sequence, safety requirements, and technical matters.
• Attend and lead project meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant parties.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with all parties to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and manage site activities to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and within the approved budget.
• Provide guidance and support to project team members to ensure safe, smooth, and effective project operations.
• Monitor project costs and manage the financial performance of assigned projects.
• Supervise, manage, and provide training and guidance to project team members.
• Ensure project claims and supporting documents are prepared and submitted on time according to main contractor and client requirements.
• Manage overall project activities, including project meetings, coordination, site supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, contractors, and clients to resolve technical and project-related matters.
• Identify project risks, issues, and delays and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure all assigned projects are completed within the agreed timeline and in accordance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements..

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Networking or any related fields.
• At least 3 to 5 years relevant working experience in the related fields.
• At least 2 years’ experience with the project management system.
• Experience with ELV system and construction projects will be added advantage.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Melayu.
• Proactive behavior, positive attitude, passionate on collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
