Project Manager (Full-Time, Remote)Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to spearhead the launch and management of multiple early-stage companies in a remote-first environment. Our company builds startups across diverse sectors – including IoT, healthcare, real estate, and data centers – and the Project Manager will ensure each venture is set up for success from concept to launchjobs.ca. In this role, you will handle operational setup, coordinate with development and cross-functional teams, and keep stakeholders informed through regular reporting. The ideal candidate has startup experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle multiple priorities with strong communication and proactive problem-solving skillsjobs.ca. This is a full-time role (approximately 180–200 hours per month) with the flexibility of a globally distributed team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent startup launch projects from initial concept through go-to-market launch, ensuring timelines and milestones are met for each venture.
• Oversee operational setup for new companies, establishing necessary processes, tools, and workflows (e.g. project management systems, communication channels, basic operational infrastructure).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams – including software developers, designers, marketers, and domain experts – to align on project goals and deliverables, maintaining smooth collaboration in a remote setting.
• Monitor and report on project progress, producing regular status updates and performance reports for founders and stakeholders to track each startup’s development.
• Identify and mitigate risks or roadblocks proactively, resolving issues quickly to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Ensure quality and readiness of each launch by managing testing, feedback collection, and iterative improvements leading up to launch day.
• Facilitate effective communication across all team members and time zones, acting as the central point of contact to ensure clarity and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously refine project processes and best practices, applying lessons learned from each launch to improve efficiency and success for future projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in a startup or high-growth environment, with a track record of taking projects or products from concept to launch.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead for various launch phases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading cross-functional meetings and reporting to senior leadership effectively.
• Comfort working remotely and proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g. project management software, video conferencing, Slack) to coordinate distributed teams.
• Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, and proactive in the face of ambiguity or rapidly changing requirements.
• Industry knowledge in IoT, healthcare, real estate, or data centers is a plus – ability to quickly learn domain specifics for each venture is required.
• International project exposure (working with global teams or markets) is a plus, though not required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience). Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a bonus.
