Our client is one of the most established high-voltage contractors in the US, building substations, transmission and distribution for major utilities and industrial customers nationwide. They’re 100% employee-owned. That means no PE exit clock, real job security, and a stake in the business you help build. They’re growing fast, with new offices and an expanding EPC offering, and they need a PM who can take substation projects from award to energisation.

What you’ll do

• Run substation construction projects end to end: scope, schedule, budget, safety and client relationships
• Lead superintendents, foremen and union crews to deliver on time and on margin
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, outages and commissioning with utility clients
• Manage change orders, forecasting and monthly reporting
• Spot risk early and fix it before it costs anything

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years managing substation construction (transmission or distribution voltage)
• Experience running utility-scale projects for investor-owned utilities or co-ops
• Strong command of scheduling, cost control and contract management
• A safety-first mindset and the presence to lead in the field and in the boardroom
• A degree in electrical or construction engineering, or equivalent experience
