Presale & Solution Scoping, Initiation & Planning

  • Presale Collaboration: As requested, participates in client calls to understand client business issues and collaborates with the pre-sale team to identify, develop scope, and determine initial pricing.
  • Project Transition: Participates in internal transition meetings to understand the client's goals, commitments made during the sales process, and history or concerns that could affect the project.
  • Project Planning: Develops a detailed project plan that translates the approved scope into tasks, milestones, dependencies, resources, and timelines; updates the plan proactively as circumstances change; and uses it to track progress throughout the engagement.
  • Project Kickoff: Leads the client kickoff meeting to introduce the project team, confirm objectives and roles, agree on how and how often the team will communicate, and review and finalize the project plan.

Project Governance & Financial Management

  • Budget, Schedule, and Financial Oversight: Keeps projects on schedule and within budget, executing change orders when required, and manages revenue forecasting, cost sharing, reconciliation, and margin compliance in collaboration with client relations and project accounting.

  • Information Management: Maintains up-to-date project information in the enterprise resource planning system.
  • Deliverable Sign-Off: Reviews project deliverables with clients and obtains their formal sign-off.

Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Implementation Leadership: Leads complex projects, including customization, implementation, reinforcement, and impact evaluation to ensure all aspects of the client and learner experience are completed to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Manages and collaborates with internal and external team members, assigning work, monitoring progress, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Tracks and analyzes risks and problems, including gaps between what was scoped and what delivery requires, and either resolves them promptly or flags them early to the Account Executive with options and recommendations, so issues are addressed internally before they reach the client and affects their satisfaction.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Client Point of Contact: Serves as the client’s day-to-day point of contact and strategic partner for project delivery, working in close coordination with the Account Executive and client relations.
  • Client Objectives: Develops a clear understanding of the client's business objectives, success measures, and organizational context, and keeps the engagement aligned to them from start to finish.
  • Status Communications: Leads regular client check-ins and milestone reviews and provides concise written updates about progress, risks, decisions needed, potential scope changes, and next steps.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Identifies key client stakeholders, including administrators, influencers, and decision-makers, and tailors communication to each stakeholder’s role and level of involvement.
  • Expectation Management: Sets and manages client expectations regarding scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Client Insight Sharing: Shares observations about the client’s evolving needs and priorities with the Account Executive to help inform account planning.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Mentorship & Development: Provides support to new project management resources.
  • Lessons Learned: Conducts project debrief meetings (e.g., with internal and external project team members) to assess solution quality, ensure lessons learned are documented, share suggestions for improvement, and celebrate successes.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Participates in developing and launching new organizational initiatives (e.g., process improvements, solutions) as required.

*May be asked to perform other tasks and duties as required*

  • Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to act as a strong strategist for the organization, aligning tactical execution with business goals.
  • Communication: Excellent and persuasive written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership: Strong influencing, planning, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage project teams and execute with minimal supervision.
  • Relationship Building: Able to build consultative and collaborative relationships internally and externally with clients.
  • Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
  • Working style: Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task, adapt readily to change, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with Zoho Projects.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms (e.g., NovoEd), learning management systems (LMSs), and course authoring tools.

This role primarily operates during normal Monday–Friday business hours. However, due to the fast-paced nature of consulting and Learning & Development, your working hours will often adjust to accommodate client time zones and critical deadlines. Some domestic travel may be required.
