Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various fabrication departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, and expertise in managing project portfolios from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project scope, schedule, and budget, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results aligned with organizational goals. The Project Manager will also be responsible for implementing best practices in change management, process improvement, and risk mitigation to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by coordinating across all trades and departments,
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, resources, and budgets utilizing tools Monday
• Have extensive fabrication knowledge and understands how to get a project from design, into fabrication, and follow it through carpentry, metal work and paint/scenic finishing.
• Manage project scope through scope management techniques and control changes via formal change management processes.
• Oversee a projects development and try to pre-empt or see fabrication , logistics or design issues and just accordingly.
• Schedule staff based off fabrication needs and coordinate with other department heads and project managers to avoid scheduling conflicts.

• Monitor project progress using earned value management and risk management techniques; implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Facilitate meetings for project updates, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Manage project documentation including technical writing, process mapping, contracts, and reports using SharePoint or similar CMS tools.
• Lead project teams by providing direction on project engineering, content management systems integration, IT infrastructure projects, and other initiatives requiring technical expertise.

Experience

• Must have minimum 5 years project management experience in fabrication or production.
• Fabrication experience in carpentry, metal work, scenic/paint finishing or design is a requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $59,907.13 - $95,000.00 per year
