Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Project Manager to lead complex semiconductor product development and commercialization projects in a fast-paced, design-centric environment. The role coordinates internal and external stakeholders from initial requirements definition through manufacturing ramp, ensuring technical and business objectives, customer commitments, quality, and execution milestones are met.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on project management experience in ASIC and mixed-signal IC development with strong cross-functional leadership, technical problem-solving, schedule ownership, and the ability to drive consensus in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Product and Project Planning

• Develop and execute product plans for the development and commercialization of power management products to meet technical and business objectives.
• Develop, drive, and deliver integrated project schedules through production, including customer milestone interlocks, project execution tracking, and metrics.
• Manage critical milestones and customer commitments across the full product lifecycle.
• Coordinate marketing, engineering, operations, and other project stakeholders from initial requirements definition through manufacturing ramp.

Cross-Functional Execution

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive schedules, alignment, consensus, and clear communication.
• Lead cross-functional issue resolution across RTL, design verification, DFT, physical design, emulation, firmware, post-silicon, packaging, and related domains to keep projects on schedule, at specification, and at the required quality level.
• Influence decisions and lead teams effectively in a matrixed environment without relying on direct authority.
• Support and encourage innovation while maintaining disciplined execution.

Tracking, Reporting, and Customer Alignment

• Track and report project progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and execution metrics to stakeholders.
• Maintain accountability for key deliverables, handoffs, resource plans, and schedule commitments.
• Coordinate customer-facing milestones and align internal execution plans with external commitments.
• Build consensus among technical and business stakeholders to enable successful project outcomes.

Operational Excellence and Problem Solving

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement practical, systematic solutions.
• Apply strategic and tactical thinking to resolve complex project issues and remove executional roadblocks.
• Communicate technical and project information through concise written updates and presentations.
• Demonstrate responsiveness, ownership, strong problem-solving, and attention to execution detail.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, Technical Project Management, Engineering Operations, or Semiconductor Product Development.
• Experience managing complex semiconductors, ASIC, SoC, mixed-signal, or related hardware development projects.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor product development lifecycles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
• Demonstrated success driving projects in cross-functional engineering environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fabless semiconductor company.
• Familiarity with ASIC, SoC, mixed-signal, high-speed I/O, networking, compute, AI, or photonics products.
• Understanding semiconductor development phases including design, verification, physical design, tapeout, validation, and productization.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar PLM platforms.
