Project Manager

About the role

This role oversees the delivery of software application support projects within the telecommunication domain. As the Project Manager, you will supervise the technical support team in areas such as system configuration, upgrades, testing, and business operations support. You will coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integration, timely issue resolution, and high-quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor the delivery of telecommunication software projects, ensuring all technical support activities align with project timelines and quality standards.
• Supervise and guide the Technical Support team in performing system configuration, business operations support, system upgrades, and other related tasks.
• Plan, coordinate, and ensure readiness for all testing phases, including preparation, test case creation, and test execution.
• Manage communication and collaboration with external parties and vendors to support system integration, issue resolution, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients, meeting customer expectations and fostering strong, win-win partnerships.
• Assign and track tasks, provide direction, and ensure accountability, based on project needs and instructions from senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management, technical support, or software/telecommunication projects.
• Strong understanding of system configuration, system upgrades, business operations support, and software testing processes.
• Experience coordinating testing phases, including test preparation, test case creation, and test execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to liaise with external vendors and clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage integration issues and troubleshooting activities.
• Able to lead, supervise, and monitor technical support teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
