Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives, client expectations, and agreed deliverables.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, resource requirements, and responsibilities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans and budgets, optimising resource utilisation and maintaining effective cost controls to support timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure seamless collaboration and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and schedules, proactively addressing deviations and implementing corrective measures to keep projects on track.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating critical matters appropriately to minimise disruption to delivery.
• Manage project changes through structured change control processes, evaluating their implications for scope, timelines, costs, and expected outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear communication, managing expectations, and ensuring a consistently high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and contractual obligations, ensuring adherence to agreed specifications, service levels, quality standards, and timelines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, financial records, and billing forecasts to support informed decision-making, financial accountability, and effective project governance.
• Track project performance against agreed delivery, cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives, taking proactive steps to improve outcomes and maintain delivery commitments.
• Identify opportunities for value creation, additional client requirements, change requests, and complementary solutions that support business growth and strengthen client relationships.
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to improve delivery efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Lead project reviews, document lessons learned, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen project execution and organisational capabilities.
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to professional development while contributing to a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience managing projects across the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Relevant experience in project planning, budgeting, resource coordination, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project reporting.
• Experience in ICT, software implementation, systems integration, enterprise solutions, or a related technology environment is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management qualification is desirable.
• Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and performance monitoring techniques.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and maintain accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
