What they need
Project Manager – Water Infrastructure | Data Centres & Life Sciences
Dublin | Permanent | €75,000 – €95,000 +bonus + benefits
Get in early at a business that’s scaling fast.
Our client is an Irish-headquartered engineering company that designs, builds and maintains water treatment infrastructure for critical industries: data centres, pharma and life sciences, food and beverage, manufacturing and energy. Data centre and life science demand across Europe and the US is driving rapid expansion, and they’re growing the team to match.
This is a chance to join while the business is still building its structure. You’ll lead high-profile projects and help set up how delivery is done as the company grows. That kind of influence is hard to find in a larger contractor.
Why this role stands out
- Real career progression. The company is growing quickly across Europe and the US, so senior positions are being created, not waited for. Strong PMs have a clear route to Senior PM, Project Director and regional leadership.
- Some of the most in-demand work in the industry. Data centre and life science water systems are a specialist, growing niche. That experience will keep your career future-proofed.
- A role with real visibility. You’ll be the main point of contact for major clients, and leadership will see what you deliver.
- International exposure. Expansion across Europe and the US brings opportunities to work on, or move into, projects abroad if you want to.
- Investment in your development. Support for professional certifications and continued learning as you grow with the business.
- An easy commute. Naas is reachable from Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Laois and Carlow via the M7/N7.
What you’ll do
- Lead all site construction activities to scope, programme and budget
- Own the client relationship and act as the main point of contact for site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Oversee installation and integration of mechanical, electrical and controls packages:
- water treatment skids and modular builds
- above- and below-ground tanks
- pipe racks and pump stations
- automation
- Work with the engineering team on systems integration and testing
- Drive a strong safety culture through inspections, audits and HSE compliance
- Manage permits, approvals and stakeholder compliance
- Identify and manage risk to keep projects on track
- Report progress clearly and keep project documentation accurate
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or similar
- 5–7 years in site construction and systems integration, ideally on data centres or other mission-critical projects
- Experience managing subcontractors on quality, safety and compliance
- Strong scheduling, budgeting and resource planning skills
- Experience with Procore, MS Project or similar
- A confident leader and communicator who builds strong relationships
- PM or construction certifications are a bonus
The package
- €75,000 – €95,000 base, depending on experience
- Benefits package
- A clear path to more senior positions as the business grows
