Project Manager – Steel & Aluminum Fabrication

McCrea’s Welding Ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team full-time.

We are a busy fabrication company specializing in steel, aluminum and marine fabrication, and we’re looking for someone with practical industry knowledge who understands how fabrication projects move from drawings and material take-offs through the shop and into completion.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Ability to confidently read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Complete accurate material take-offs
• Strong working knowledge of steel and aluminum fabrication
• Coordinate materials, scheduling and fabrication requirements
• Organize and manage multiple projects at once
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, management and our fabrication team
• Track projects and help ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
• CWB Supervisor certification/experience is an asset, but not required
• CAD experience is an asset

We are looking for someone who understands the fabrication industry and can become a key part of our team. This is not strictly an office-based project management position practical knowledge of steel and aluminum fabrication is important to this role.
