Project Manager

Job Summary

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools; coordinate construction schedule updates and adjustments
• Manage project budgets through effective cost estimation, cost management strategies, and tracking using HeavyBid or comparable software
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project communication and collaboration
• Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, quality standards, and regulatory adherence; conduct regular site inspections
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam for document control, progress tracking, and reporting
• Lead project teams by managing resources efficiently, assigning tasks clearly, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability
• Ensure all projects meet local construction regulations and environmental standards while adhering to deadlines
• Prepare detailed reports on project progress, risks, issues, and resolutions for stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on civil engineering or heavy civil works
• Strong proficiency in project management tools including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques, scheduling coordination, cost management practices, and blueprint reading
• Hands-on experience with construction site supervision including safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Ability to manage multiple teams across different trades while maintaining clear communication channels
• Familiarity with construction regulations at local/state/federal levels; understanding of environmental standards is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization in fast-paced environments
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams toward shared goals in complex projects
• Construction management certification or relevant professional credentials are preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $93,600.00 - $113,000.00 per year
