Location: Frisco, TX (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $45/hr. on W2

Duration: 10 Months

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Internal Project/Program Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity, compliance, or audit to lead internal projects and drive remediation efforts across business units. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to monitor compliance issues, manage remediation plans, and escalate risks when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead internal projects to ensure successful delivery within defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations .
• Plan, coordinate, and manage project activities, resources, and deliverables from initiation through implementation.
• Collaborate with internal business units and third-party vendors to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Develop, manage, and track remediation plans addressing compliance gaps, audit findings, and cybersecurity-related issues.
• Prepare regular status reports on outstanding issues, remediation progress, risks, and escalations.
• Identify potential project risks, assess their impact, and determine when escalation is necessary.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and recommended actions to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
• Apply established project management methodologies, operational policies, and best practices to achieve project objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives that support organizational goals and long-term business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field ; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project management or related roles.
• PMP certification is required.
• Strong background in cybersecurity, compliance, audit, or risk remediation .
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and operational policies.
• Proven experience developing and tracking remediation plans for compliance issues or audit findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and risk assessment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and lead complex cross-functional initiatives.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in Frisco, Texas .
