What they need
Do you have a strong background in IT project management and enjoy driving customer projects from planning to successful delivery? Are you motivated by working closely with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and deliver real business value?
At Worklinq, we deliver standard Workforce Management solutions that help organizations manage time registration, absence management, workforce planning, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements and local labour regulations. Worklinq is a standard solution that can be configured to meet each customer's specific requirements.
As Project Manager, you will lead implementation projects ranging from approximately 250 to 1,500 hours. Projects typically involve a project manager, one or more consultants, and coordination with various internal specialists. Your role will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
In addition, you will be part of an exciting transformation journey as our Workforce Management platform continues its evolution as a native cloud SaaS solution.
Your responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will work closely with consultants across the Nordics and the UK while acting as the primary point of coordination between customers and internal delivery teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer implementation and upgrade projects from initiation to go-live.
- Creating, maintaining, and driving project plans, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Following up on project activities, actions, risks, and dependencies across customers and internal teams.
- Ensuring alignment between consultants, technical specialists, support teams, and customers.
- Supporting consultants in day-to-day project execution.
- Managing customer expectations and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and mitigating risks early to maintain project momentum and successful outcomes.
- Maintaining detailed oversight of project scope, typically managed through Jira, Excel, and other project tracking tools.
What makes this role different
This is a highly customer-facing and operational project management role.
Success in this position depends on your ability to stay close to the details, proactively follow up on tasks, and create momentum across multiple stakeholders. While there will be customer dialogue and steering, the role is primarily focused on execution rather than strategic consulting.
You are comfortable:
- Driving progress through structured follow-up and coordination.
- Managing many parallel actions and dependencies simultaneously.
- Working hands-on with project plans, task lists, and issue tracking.
- Ensuring internal stakeholders deliver on commitments.
- Quickly identifying what will create the greatest project progress and focusing your efforts accordingly.
- Thinking several steps ahead and proactively addressing potential risks before they become issues.
Skills and experience
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who:
- Has at least 5 years of experience managing IT implementation projects.
- Has a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
- Thrives in customer-facing environments with many internal and external stakeholders.
- Is highly structured, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.
- Has strong analytical skills and the ability to identify priorities that drive project progress.
- Has experience coordinating cross-functional teams and following through on commitments.
- Possesses a solid technical understanding and is comfortable discussing solution design and implementation details.
- Is experienced with Microsoft Office and Teams and preferably familiar with Jira.
- Has experience working in international project environments.
- Holds a project management certification (considered an advantage but not a requirement).
Language requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be able to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues across the Nordics and the UK.
We therefore expect you to be fluent in:
- English
- Danish, Swedish and/or Norwegian
We offer
You will become part of an international and growing organization with an informal and collaborative culture where customer success and teamwork are key priorities.
We offer:
- Exciting customer projects for some of the largest and most recognized organizations across the Nordics and the UK.
- A dynamic environment where you can make a direct impact on project success and customer satisfaction.
- Flexible working conditions and competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Pension scheme, health insurance, lunch program, mobile phone, and internet coverage.
- Social events and company gatherings across countries throughout the year.
If you are an experienced, hands-on project manager who enjoys creating structure, driving progress, and delivering successful customer implementations, we would love to hear from you. For questions, contact Jens Laugesen, Director Professional Services, at [email protected].
