At Schmitz Cargobull, we are continuously developing our production network and expanding our footprint across Europe. To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager who will play a key role in shaping the future of our tipper business in Romania and beyond.

Your duties

• Lead strategic localization and industrialization projects across the production network, supporting the long-term growth and competitiveness of the tipper business.
• Drive the development and implementation of tipper production activities in Oradea while supporting regional growth initiatives and market expansion.
• Manage complex cross-functional projects by coordinating stakeholders, resources, timelines and budgets to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Operations and international production plants to ensure successful project execution and effective knowledge transfer.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals, including feasibility assessments and ROI evaluations for future development initiatives.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, resource allocation and performance indicators, taking corrective actions whenever required.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, operational stability and cost competitiveness.
• Support strategic decisions regarding production footprint optimization and manufacturing allocation within the Schmitz Cargobull network.

Your profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management or a related field.
• Several years of experience in project management, operations, industrial engineering or business development within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; German is considered an advantage.
