Project Manager

Southwood Building Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial and institutional construction projects ranging from $1 million to $25 million in the Richmond, Virginia area.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple construction projects from start to finish.
• Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules.
• Coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitoring project budgets, costs, and overall financial performance.
• Ensuring projects are built in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identifying potential issues and proactively developing solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Maintaining clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders.
