Amesan Consulting is recruiting several Project Managers on behalf of our client, BTB Transformers, to strengthen their Project Management team.

Location: Pietarsaari or Vaasa, Finland

As a Project Manager , you will manage transformer projects from order receipt to final delivery, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

Your Role

You will have end-to-end responsibility for international technical delivery projects, acting as a key link between customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing technical projects from order receipt to final delivery
• Coordinating customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Planning and monitoring project schedules, budgets, costs and deliveries
• Managing technical documentation, drawings, order confirmations and customer approvals
• Coordinating Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and quality-related activities
• Overseeing logistics, delivery documentation and project-related financial follow-up
• Ensuring project quality, documentation and continuous improvement

This is an independent role with significant project responsibility and cross-functional coordination, without formal personnel management duties.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for structured, proactive and commercially aware professionals who enjoy taking responsibility and driving projects forward.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience in technical project management, coordination or project leadership
• Experience in procurement, supplier cooperation or technical delivery projects
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills
• Understanding of project budgeting, cost control and technical documentation
• Fluent English skills and the ability to work in an international environment
• A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience in transformer technology, electrical equipment, energy technology or similar industrial environments is an advantage, but not essential. Additional language skills and experience with on-site work are also valued.
