Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager

About the Role

We’re recruiting a Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager for a growing technology business delivering software solutions to enterprise customers.

This is a varied role combining approximately 40% Business Analysis and 60% Project Management, offering the opportunity to work closely with customers, stakeholders and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and manage projects through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories, technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops.
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and assess technical feasibility.
• Manage projects from initiation through to implementation and handover.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, budgets where applicable, risks and dependencies.
• Manage scope, changes, stakeholder communications and delivery timelines.
• Support software testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation.

Essential Experience

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or in a combined BA/PM role.
• Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria for software development.
• Confidence working with developers and technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing projects throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Understanding of Agile software development, APIs, system integrations and data flows.

Experience with SaaS, bespoke software development, Jira or Azure DevOps would be advantageous.
