PROJECT MANAGER

About the role

The project manager controls the time, cost and quality of bored piling projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. He ensures the project is completed on time, within budget and that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly. He plans carefully and coordinates all aspects of the piling process, including selection of appropriate equipment and suppliers for the work. He oversees the entire bored piling project in different aspects, from financial, logistic, utilization, implementation, planning, execution and monitoring.

Key responsibilities also includes:

• Setting project objectives
• Representing the organization's interests
• Providing advice on the management of projects
• Organizing the various professional people working on a project
• Carrying out risk assessment
• Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control
• Selecting suppliers
• Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing
• Expedite all shop drawings and approvals
• Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Five (5) years’ work experience in Foundations Work, geotechnical/special foundations works and knowledge of CFA equipment.

• Knowledge of performing DMS, Jean Lutz and GeoMisure software is a must.
