About the Project Manager Opportunity

My client is seeking a Project Manager with approximately 3–5 years of experience working for a conveyor systems integrator or an industrial material-handling company . The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing onsite project management, field installations, installation crews, and coordination with foremen and superintendents.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage multiple conveyor installation projects simultaneously, typically 3–5 projects at a time.
• Oversee onsite project management, field installation activities, foremen, and installation crews.
• Coordinate the mechanical and electrical installation of conveyor systems.
• Assist with system commissioning, startup, and project handover.
• Interpret installation drawings and verify that conveyor systems are installed according to project specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with installation standards.
• Coordinate the mechanical and electrical installation of conveyor systems.
• Prepare and document change orders, obtaining customer approval for cost and schedule impacts before additional work begins.
• Monitor project schedules, communicate changes, and coordinate progress with customers and internal departments.
• Train technicians, employees, and contractors on installation procedures, safety requirements, and site-specific policies.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and effective project coordination.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: Guaranteed 40 hour week + Overtime

• Paid overtime

• Per diem for eligible business travel
