Project Manager

Tycho Technologies is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage software development projects from planning to delivery. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with development, QA, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and as per client requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development processes, project planning, stakeholder management, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver software development projects within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
• Gather project requirements and coordinate with clients, business stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Prepare project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation plans, and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, and business analysts to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to clients and senior management.
• Manage client expectations, handle change requests, and ensure timely resolution of project-related issues.
• Monitor software development activities across the SDLC, from requirement gathering and development to testing, deployment, and post-release support.
• Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards and client expectations.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
• Use project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project to track tasks and milestones.
• Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, wherever applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, team productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of overall professional experience, with substantial experience managing IT/software projects.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience managing project timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong client communication, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills.
• Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, databases, integrations, and testing processes.
• Experience using project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or other relevant project management certification.
• Experience working with distributed or cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience managing multiple client projects or software product development initiatives.
• Understanding of software release management, deployment processes, and post-production support.
