IT Project Manager

Work Arrangement: Remote opportunities available, with on-site availability as needed.

About the Role:

We are partnering with a higher Education client who is seeking an IT Project Manager with 1–3 years of relevant experience to coordinate technology projects across academic and administrative departments. Projects may include software implementations, system upgrades, and business process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, tasks, budgets, and deadlines.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project goals.
• Partner with technical teams and vendors to keep projects moving.
• Track progress, identify risks, and communicate updates.
• Maintain project documentation and support testing, training, and implementation.
• Help teams improve processes and resolve project issues.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in IT project management or project coordination.
• Basic understanding of project management methods, including traditional and Agile/Scrum approaches.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate with technical and nontechnical teams.
• Familiarity with software implementations, IT systems, or business process improvement.
• Ability to learn new systems and business processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in higher education.
• Relevant project management or Scrum certification.

Occasional work outside normal business hours and on-site attendance may be required.
