Project Manager – Commercial Janitorial Services

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., with flexibility as needed
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Regional Manager
Required Experience: At least 3 years of janitorial experience
Required Languages: English and Spanish

Total Quality Building Services is seeking a bilingual Project Manager to oversee cleaning operations and personnel at assigned commercial properties. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn and use new technologies.

The position involves eight working hours per day, with schedule flexibility as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of janitorial experience; commercial and retail cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience and proficiency in operating floor scrubbing, stripping, buffing, and carpet shampooing machines.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use company technology to manage operations and communicate updates.
• Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and respond promptly to operational needs.

Overall Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following and may be adjusted by Total Quality as needed:

• Direct and manage cleaning operations and personnel at assigned accounts.
• Plan and organize daily operations to meet company operational and financial objectives.
• Provide direction, training, and support to supervisors and cleaning staff.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and service levels meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections, address deficiencies, and follow up to confirm corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain open communication with building staff, property management, and company management.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact, responsiveness, and follow-up.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, work rules, safety procedures, and applicable requirements.
• Provide support to Area Managers and other company managers as needed.
• Maintain availability as required and respond promptly to urgent issues and emergencies.
