Join Our Team as a Project Manager!

Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead projects through the design, manufacturing, and commissioning phases, delivering customized equipment and world-class technology solutions to our customers.

What you’ll get to do

• Review incoming orders to ensure alignment with customer specifications and approved proposals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams on all project-related matters.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee projects throughout the design, build, and commissioning phases, assuming technical and financial accountability for assigned projects.
• Coordinate project activities by communicating relevant information to Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments.
• Schedule and lead design and manufacturing line-up meetings to support successful program launch and ensure alignment with purchase order requirements and revisions.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying risks or variances and implementing corrective action plans as required.
• Track, document, and communicate changes impacting scope, pricing, or delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues while balancing cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate with leadership to allocate resources across design, machining, assembly, and tryout phases.
• Partner with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of commercial and internally manufactured components.
• Coordinate customer visits for project progress reviews and final buy-off meetings.
• Communicate pricing changes and order amendments to Proposal, Sales, and Finance teams.
• Provide technical support to Proposal and Estimating teams and participate in proposal review meetings as required.
• Collaborate with Valiant TMS teams across international locations to support successful project execution.
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes, procedures, and standards.

What we are looking for

• Experience: A minimum of five years of design and/or production experience in automated production systems or machine tool design and build environments with demonstrated project management experience.
• Education: Completed post-secondary education in technical or engineering studies.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy when interacting with customers.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel (domestically and internationally) to customer sites.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
