Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Addis Ababa, responsible for overseeing software development and ICT consultancy projects from initiation to completion. On a daily basis, the Project Manager will define project scopes and objectives, create detailed project plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines. The role includes managing resources, budgets, and schedules, tracking progress, and proactively addressing risks, issues, and dependencies. The Project Manager will liaise with clients to clarify requirements, provide regular status updates, and ensure expectations are aligned with project outcomes. Additional responsibilities include preparing project documentation, facilitating review meetings, and supporting continuous improvement of project management practices within the company.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Candidates should possess skills in Expediting and Expeditor functions, ensuring timely delivery of project materials, information, and approvals.
• Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills, such as overseeing quality checks, verifying compliance with requirements, and documenting findings.
• Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate resources, manage workflows, and support efficient project execution.
• Relevant experience managing software development or ICT projects, preferably in a consulting or technology-focused environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical teams and clients, and to present project updates clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or traditional frameworks) is advantageous.
