The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial construction project management, happy for an office-based position with regular visits to active jobsites, and who enjoys working collaboratively, reacting quickly to changing project requirements and taking pride in delivering quality work.

THE ROLE:

* Manage commercial construction projects from planning and development through to completion, taking ownership of schedules, costs, procurement, contracts, change orders and project closeout.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and vendors, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

* Lead project teams and coordinate site activity, working closely with Superintendents, reviewing projects in the field and maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.

* Manage multiple projects and competing priorities, responding quickly to changes and ensuring clear communication across the project team in a fast-paced, office-based environment.

THE PERSON:

* 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience, with a strong understanding of the full building process and ideally experience across ground-up construction and renovations.

* Strong project management and commercial skills, including scheduling, estimating, procurement, contracts, change orders and project cost management.

* A confident leader and communicator, able to build relationships with clients and project teams while demonstrating strong negotiation, organisation and critical-thinking skills.

* A long-term, hands-on professional with high integrity, attention to detail and a quality-focused approach, who is comfortable working from the office with regular visits to active jobsites.
