Title: Project Manager

Location: Ft. Lauderdale or Miami

Compensation: $110,000-$155,000

We are partnering with a highly respected commercial construction organization seeking Project Managers to join its South Florida team. The Project Manager will provide overall project leadership, contract administration, and technical expertise while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality expectations.

We are considering candidates at multiple experience levels, from developing Project Managers with 2+ years of PM experience through accomplished professionals with 5-9 years of Project Management experience .

Day-to-day:

• Manage day-to-day project execution, contract administration, and overall project performance.
• Ensure projects are constructed according to design, budget, schedule, quality, and resource requirements.
• Develop and implement project safety plans while promoting strong health and safety practices.
• Monitor project performance and provide updates related to safety, cost forecasts, schedules, and overall progress.
• Manage subcontractors, purchase orders, contract revisions, and progress payments.
• Review and enforce contracts, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Identify project risks and opportunities and proactively develop solutions.
• Partner with clients and project stakeholders to understand project objectives and identify value-engineering opportunities related to functionality, cost, and schedule.
• Support project commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• On design-build projects, help monitor design progress, constructability, coordination, quality, compliance, and timing of deliverables.
• Support design-management and quality plans, including periodic quality audits.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Project Manager experience within the construction industry .
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, building materials, specifications, methods, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, building codes, safety requirements, and quality-management practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project-management/scheduling software.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work primarily in the field at active project sites throughout the Fort Lauderdale/Miami market .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline .
• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction/early project phases through closeout.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range is $110,000-$155,000 , depending on experience and overall qualifications.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates currently located outside South Florida.
