Project Manager (Construction)

Job Description and Responsibilities:

·         Overall project management & implementation of project base on work programme.

·         Overseeing & Coordinating construction work carried out from start to end of project on site.

·         Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.

·         Attend meetings relating projects with consultants, architects, developers.

·         Monitor construction progress, quality, costs, and project milestones.

·         Identify and resolve technical, operational, and construction issues.

·         Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

·         Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to management.

·         Coordinating with necessary correspondence with consultants, architects and developer.

·         Coordinate with subordinate and subcontractors/suppliers.

·         Valuation and verify sub-contractors works and performance for payments.

·         Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements:

·         Candidate must possess at least a professional Certificates, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.

·         At least 5 year(s) of working experience.

·         Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, project planning, and cost control.

·         Mature and able to interact with different level of management.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·         Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.

·         Knowledge in relevant statutory requirement pertaining to constructions, safety, building by laws will be an added advantage.

·         Possess own transport.
