Project Manager – Construction
Brisbane / Deception Bay | Full-time | Hybrid
$120,000 – $150,000 + company vehicle + fuel card
Edge Concepts (Qld) Pty Ltd is a growing Queensland contractor specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of architectural aluminium, stainless steel and glass packages across South East Queensland.
As we continue to expand our presence across high-rise residential, commercial and premium residential developments, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our project delivery team.
This is a hands-on project delivery role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and seeing highly visible architectural work progress from drawings through manufacture and ultimately into the finished building.
Our head office and manufacturing facility is based in Deception Bay, with this role primarily supporting projects across Brisbane CBD and Brisbane's southside.
The Role
You will take ownership of a portfolio of construction projects from handover through to completion, working closely with clients, our internal drafting and manufacturing teams, and site installation crews.
Your projects will include architectural packages that include:
- Aluminium and glass balustrades
- Aluminium fencing
- Aluminium and glass pool fencing
- Aluminium façades
- Pergolas
- Aluminium and stainless-steel handrails
- Architectural window hoods
Edge controls the full delivery process across design and drafting, manufacturing, powder coating and installation, giving our Project Managers greater visibility and influence over project outcomes.
You will be responsible for driving programme, coordinating delivery requirements, managing client relationships and ensuring projects continue moving toward key construction and commercial milestones.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Take ownership of projects from handover through to completion, including defects and close-out.
- Plan and manage project programmes across drafting, manufacturing and installation.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring expectations, priorities and project requirements are clearly managed.
- Lead project delivery across site teams, resolving issues early and keeping work progressing safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate technical requirements, site measures and drawing reviews with our in-house drafting and manufacturing teams.
- Manage the commercial performance of your projects, including budgets, variations, claims and scope changes.
- Identify risks, constraints and upcoming requirements early, and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain oversight of quality, programme and project outcomes through to final completion.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, technically curious and calm under pressure.
You will be comfortable managing several competing priorities, making decisions and finding practical solutions when construction programmes inevitably change.
Ideally, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience delivering projects within construction, manufacturing or a related environment.
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and construction documentation.
Experience coordinating multiple projects, stakeholders and site teams.
Strong client-facing communication skills and confidence participating in construction meetings.
Good commercial awareness, including an understanding of budgets, variations, progress claims and project programmes.
Strong planning and time-management skills.
Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint, or similar platforms.
Current Australian driver's licence.
Construction White Card.
Experience within architectural metalwork, façades, glazing, structural steel, manufacturing/fabrication or commercial fit-out will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Formal project management qualifications are also highly regarded. A Diploma of Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related qualification would be advantageous, however relevant industry experience and demonstrated capability will carry greater weight.
Why Edge Concepts?
Edge is entering its next stage of growth, with an increasing focus on larger high-rise and commercial developments across South East Queensland.
You'll join a business that delivers highly visible architectural work and controls the complete process from drafting through manufacturing, finishing and installation.

Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Flexibility to manage your working day around project and site requirements
