Project Manager (Construction)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end property development lifecycle, covering project planning, feasibility assessments, design coordination, construction, statutory approvals, and final project handover.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, utility companies, relevant authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective project execution.
• Track project progress, construction quality, site safety, budget utilisation, and project timelines to ensure delivery in accordance with approved plans, budgets, schedules, and company standards.
• Review architectural, structural, civil, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) drawings to ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor statutory submissions, planning permissions, building plan approvals, permits, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Oversee project expenditure, contractual matters, and financial performance to maintain cost efficiency and ensure project viability.
• Coordinate site inspections, defect rectification, completion certification, and handover activities to facilitate timely and smooth delivery to purchasers.
• Identify potential project risks, address implementation challenges, and propose practical solutions to Management to minimise delays and cost overruns.
• Prepare periodic project progress reports, track key deliverables and milestones, and provide Management with updates on project performance, risks, and recommended actions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Property Development, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in property development, project management, construction coordination, or site management, preferably involving building development projects.
• Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of construction processes, technical drawings, statutory approvals, contract administration, and project cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities and ensure timely delivery in accordance with quality, budget, and regulatory requirements.
