This hands-on role involves managing all aspects of the construction process from planning to completion, making it ideal for an individual with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale residential projects for main contractors or developers.

Qualifications * Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (desirable)

Role Overview

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• General Management: Plan and deliver overall project from pre-start to handover.
• Responsible for project management, including planning & programming, health & safety, design management, construction operations, quality and environmental standards, and more.
• Schedule project activities using planning software and ensure resource availability for timely delivery.
• Prepare monthly reports on program status, quality, health & safety, progress, and financials, presenting them to stakeholders.
• Assist in design management to close out design issues according to the program.
• Manage procurement schedules and oversee subcontractor quality assurance.

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies, promoting a positive safety culture.
• Plan and coordinate work activities, addressing foreseeable risks to provide a safe working environment.
• Investigate all incidents and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Quality

• Implement and maintain quality assurance systems for site activities, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
• Conduct inspections and maintain relevant documentation, addressing any quality concerns with subcontractors immediately.

Abilities & Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software such as MS Project.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, combined with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with effective project management skills.
