Project Manager Construction

About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, including the master schedule and construction methods tailored to site conditions. This role leads and oversees all project execution activities to ensure that construction works are delivered in accordance with established quality standards, project timelines, budget, and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including master schedules, construction methods, and execution strategies tailored to site conditions.
• Lead and manage project execution to achieve established quality, time, and budget targets.
• Develop and coordinate the implementation of effective and innovative construction systems and technologies.
• Monitor and supervise all on-site construction activities and implement corrective actions to address deviations from project plans and standards.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical, operational, and coordination issues arising throughout the construction process.
• Prepare and ensure the timely completion of Work Progress Reports and Progress Minutes, including obtaining signatures from all relevant parties.
• Manage project handover to the client and ensure all Handover Minutes and supporting documents are complete and comply with contractual requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, relevant government authorities, and surrounding communities.
• Ensure the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), security, and environmental cleanliness standards throughout project execution.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Project Manager in a construction contracting company, particularly in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) implementation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other relevant project management applications.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Highly disciplined, honest, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a strong commitment to achieving project targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and deliver regular project progress reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare accurate, comprehensive, and informative reports.
• Experience managing government-funded projects (APBN/APBD) is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned to project locations throughout Indonesia.
