Project Manager - Construction (Earthwork & Infrastructure)

Job description:

a) Project and site management

• Responsible for the full spectrum of project and site-related matters
• Prepare work program, schedule and plan for the project’s resources, manage the allocation efficiency
• Implement and monitor all aspects of construction activities undertaken from implementation to completion of projects, including final accounts and constantly ensure project cost is kept within budget
• Monitor sub-contractors’ performance, progress of works and claims
• Attend site meeting with consultants and clients, and organise an internal meeting with subcontractor to resolve the technical and site logistics issues

b) Manpower management

• Manpower assignment
• Verification of subcontractor claims
• Welfare of site personnel

c) Client and stakeholder communication

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities on projects undertaken by the company
• Implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the quality system in order to strengthen the company’s position

Job requirements:

• Candidates should possess a Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in handling project management in the construction industry
• A candidate with prior or current experience in handling earthwork or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to be located in Sedenak, Kulai, Johor.
