Project Manager (Contract)

This role is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex technical projects from initiation through completion. The Project Manager will define project scope, objectives, schedules, resources, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The position requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and maintaining operational continuity across sites with varying levels of maturity. The successful candidate will be adept at providing clear status updates to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring technical quality, regulatory compliance, and effective knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of multiple technical projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Define and document project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial status.
• Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and senior management, providing regular status updates.
• Oversee knowledge transfer and operational continuity across diverse project sites.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex technical projects, preferably in a contract or consulting capacity.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and technical quality standards.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and sites at varying maturity levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Availability for a full-time contract position.
